I like pie.

Waking up to Curtis’ alarm at an obscene hour so he can make it to his baking lab is totally worth it when he calls me at 2pm and says, “How many pies do you want me to bring home?”
Then he lists off the types.

He made them himself so he knows there’s either no refined sugar, or in other ones less than a few tablespoons in the entire thing. The organic (!) fruit is sweet enough by itself.

“Um, can I have all of them?”

I am really, really liking being a pregnant wife to a culinary arts student right now.

The next two weeks of lab won’t be nearly as fun (for either of us), so this is making up for it in advance, I think.

Holy yum for pie.
